The National WWII Museum of New OrleansContains resources for teachers and students including short articles about battles/major events, digital collections, and contests for students to participate in.

The website for Manzanar National Historic Site, an internment camp (located the Owens Valley of CA) where over 110,000 Japanese Americans were incarcerated. Home to exhibits, primary sources, and photographs of life at the camp.
Khan Academy: Beginning of WWIIAn overview of the run up to and very beginnings of World War II. Begins with Asia and the Pacific before moving into what is occurring in Germany. Provides a good summary of the very beginning of WWII, before the US was ever involved.
